Our rBST Policy

In 1993, The Food and Drug Administration approved a drug called rBST to increase milk production in cows. The FDA has stated there is no significant difference in milk derived from cows treated with rBST and from those not treated. We at Jilbert Dairy have received many calls and letters from concerned consumers regarding the use of this drug.... and the concern continues today.

From day one, we have listened to the consumer. Farms shipping milk to Jilbert Dairy have certified they will not treat their cows with rBST.

We at Jilbert Dairy felt strongly about this issue in 1993, and we still do today!
