About Jilbert Dairy Jilbert Dairy has been in the dairy business in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan since 1937. The original plant was located on the Jilbert farm in Lake Linden, MI. In 1955, the operation moved to larger quarters in Calumet, MI. In 1983, Jilbert Dairy moved to it's current location in Marquette, MI. This move put us in the middle of our milk supply and our customers. Our market area covers the entire Upper Peninsula, from Ironwood to Drummond Island, and from Menominee to Copper Harbor. We also cover parts of northern Wisconsin. Back in 1937, we were processing 10,000 lbs. of milk per month. Today, we are processing over 4,000,000 lbs. per month. |
